Bald Protocol is a crypto index tracking top projects led by balding founders. More than a market tracker, it explores the link between leadership, innovation, and performance. Benchmarked against Bitcoin. The big question: are the shiniest heads in crypto also the sharpest?

Since this was a playful project, I leaned into humor and irreverence. The project lives at the intersection of meme culture and Web3, and the design needed to echo that without overwhelming it. We wanted a mascot that instantly signaled playfulness and didn't take itself too seriously, so I turned to the rubberhose cartoon style: bendy-limbed, high-contrast characters with a built-in sense of humor. That style became visual shorthand for the project's ethos; bold, silly, and a little absurd, deliberately at odds with crypto's usual polished, corporate look.
